Our Story
Jorge Mimila
Jorge grew up surrounded by landscapers. His dad, brothers, uncles and friends did landscaping for a living. Because of that, Jorge started working in the landscaping industry since he was 15 years old with his dad on the weekends. One of the reasons he’s learned so much is because he started at a young age. Jorge started working for Pro Qual when he turned 18 worked in that company to earn money while he was on break from school just to earn extra money. After only one month on the job they offered him a promotion to crew leader because of all the experience he had gained prior to joining the company. Jorge turned down the offer as he had to go back to school; yet, realized he had the knowledge and experience to start his own business. Jorge had a vision of creating a company where he could work with both his older brother and father and created New Era Landscape Specialist. Jorge started building up his clientele by providing fair pricing while over delivering on his service promise. In a few short years, Jorge was able to recruit his brother and then his father away from their current companies. Together they are creating great experiences for their New Era Landscape Specialist customers!
Gerardo Mimila Sr.
Gerardo Sr. has been in the landscaping industry for over 28 years and has worked One Source Landscaping and Blue Marble Landscape. Gerardo is now working with his youngest son and for New Era Landscape LLC. “What could be better working with my son and doing something I truly enjoy. I love it!”
Gerardo Mimila Jr.
Gerardo has worked in the landscaping industry since he was 19 years old. He now has over 10 years experience in the industry. He learned some of the industry’s best practices by working along side his father at One Source Landscaping where he spent the majority of his time there as a crew leader. Gerardo Jr. later transitioned to Pro Qual Landscaping where he continued to learn about the industry and manage their crews as well. After joining New Era Landscape Specialist he couldn’t be happier.
Our Process
Our simple Five Step Process will guide you to the yard of your dreams.
Step 1: Site Meeting
Discuss client’s needs and desires for the site and project. Envisioning the final work. During this phase we determine if the client’s needs require a design proposal or estimate for installation.
Step 2: Project Evaluation
Take an inventory and analysis of landscape and site condition.
Step 3: Design Concept
We create concepts for the site and present them to the client.
Step 4: Customer Feedback
We gain feedback from the client on design concepts, make revision and finalize the details. From this we prepare an estimate for the work
Step 5: Installation
Working from the design documents, we prepare and install the project. During this time, any additions or revisions can occur to fulfill the customer’s vision.
